Googliness is a word that describes ones own aspirations. I feel I have googliness because I have goals, I am productive and proactive, I have a sense of humor and I strive to be the best person I could be. There is one person in my life that googliness really describes, and that person is my mom. My mom works hard in everything she does, she is nice to everyone and honest and fair. Shes not perfect but she is one of the nicest most humble person you will ever meet. My mom represents googliness well in the work place and in everyday life.
I feel that it is important to thank every veteran you see. They put their life on the line to protect our freedoms, and for that they deserve so much more then a thank you. Veterans are brave men or women that love and honor america so much that they are willing to give up everything. Its not only hard for the veterans to leave their loved ones its also hard for their loved ones to let them go. So if you are given then chance, say thank you to the veterans and don't forget about their family and what they have gone through too!
I would like to say thanks to all the veterans out there, I truly appreciate everything you have done! I've never heard on gaming in education before. When I think of gaming I think of people who all they do once they get home from school is go on their Xbox and play video games. I think that if they are incorporating learning into these games that its a very good idea. But getting kids to play educational games I think would be tough. Unless its made to be fun I don't think many people would be interested.
After reading "Will Gaming save education" I have a different perspective. Making games more difficult so it causes kids to think more in the games has its benefits in learning. The phrase "learn by doing" will apply and "fail it up" which means that every game designer expects every player to be successful in their game. I do think its possible to incorporate learning in games. But I do still think that not everyone will be interested in it. |
